Who gets notified when I activate the SOS alarm?
Your chosen guardians will get a notification once you activate the alarm.Are all of my bSafe guardians alerted when I activate the SOS alarm?
Yes. Once you activate the alarm, all of your guardians will be notified immediately and have live access to your location. Your primary guardian will receive a call and your other guardians will receive a text message.
Can I mute the siren that goes off when I activate the SOS alarm?
If you want to activate your alarm quietly, you can simply mute the alarm by tapping the sound icon on the bSafe home screen.
Do any emergency services get notified when I activate the SOS alarm?
No, your designated guardians are the only ones being notified.
How can I make sure that other people do not cancel the SOS alarm?
You can ensure that your safety stays in your own control by setting a pin code. If you activate the pin protection (can be found in the alarm settings), your selected 4-digit pin-code will be required to deactivate the alarm and to turn off the Follow Me function.
Can I customize the SOS alarm?
Yes. You can view all your options in the alarm settings. You can add a private pin code to prevent your alarm from being deactivated by anyone else but you and even specify how long your alarm will take to activate after you tap the SOS button.
Is there a way for me to access the SOS alarm even when my phone is not in my hands?
If you do not have access to your phone, you can use the Follow Me function with Timer Mode to make sure that the alarm is auto-triggered after a specific period of time. You can also activate the alarm by using the Voice Activation function.
How do I know which guardians are following me?
As soon as your guardians accept the Follow Me requests, their icons will show up on the top section of your home screen. A sound will also be played to alert you that they have entered your map.

What is Follow Me with Timer?
Follow Me with Timer will follow you for a defined period of time. bSafe will track your movements continuously, and the alarm will automatically be triggered if you do not check in on time. bSafe will remind you when your chosen period of time is running out. The Timer Mode is an effective way to alert your friends automatically after a duration of time, without alerting them with the live Follow Me invitation during late nights and early mornings.
Is it possible to change the Follow Me with Timer once it has started?
Yes, just hit stop on your current timer and tap update to set a new time.
Can I turn off the Follow Me function whenever I want?
Yes. You can turn off your location sharing any time by tapping the GPS button on the bSafe home screen.

Can I choose my own phrase for the Voice Activation function?

Can I deactivate the Voice Activation function?

Once I have scheduled a Fake Call, do I have to stay in the app for the function to work, or can I lock my screen?
You can lock your screen and place your phone in your pocket, purse, or wherever you want. The alarm will still go off after your chosen time period.
If my phone is on mute, will I still be able to hear my ring signal?
Yes, you will be able to hear the ring tone regardless of if your phone is on mute or not.

Will bSafe automatically save the recorded material to my phone?
Yes. When the SOS alarm is activated, your phone will automatically start to record both audio and video. The recorded files will be sent to yourself and to your guardian’s cell phones.
bSafe Button is a small, portable device that can be used to call for help in emergency situations or if you are in an unfamiliar environment that makes you feel unsafe. It is designed to provide users with a sense of security and safety, no matter where they are.
bSafe Button works by connecting to a mobile phone via Bluetooth. When you press the button, it starts the alarm and sends an emergency message to a predefined guardians list, which can include friends, family, or emergency services.
To activate bSafe Button, you need to install the bSafe app on your phone and connect the device to the app via Bluetooth. Then, you can set up your guardians list and costumize the settings as needed.
If bSafe Button is not working as expected, you can try reconnecting the device to the app, charging the battery, or contacting customer service for assistance.
All you need to do to change your account phone number is to email us your current and desired account phone number at support@getbsafe.com. Once we have changed your number, you have to log out from bSafe and login with your new number. Note that your guardians might see two entries from you (one with the new correct number and a pending one with the old number). They can simply delete the pending one.
If you are logged out of the app and have forgotten your password, you just have to tap “Login without Facebook”, enter your mobile number, and tap the “Forgot Your Password” link. An email with a new password will then immediately be sent to you. If you are logged in and want to change your password to a new one, you just have to tap the menu on the top left, tap on My Profile, tap the password field, and enter a new password.
In order to install the app, you and your guardians need to have an iPhone (iOS version 6.1 or above) or an Android phone (Android version 2.3 or above).
The bSafe Partner Portal is a powerful tool designed to give you full control over your bSafe subscription and the employees who use it. With the Partner Portal, you can easily manage your account, view invoices, and access important information about your bSafe subscription.
To get access to the Partner Portal, you need to send us a request through our Business Solution page. You will find this form under the 'Order Now' button. If you are an Australian or UK customer, you have to order through our partners in these regions. If you are based in the US or other countries, you will be sent directly to our Partner Portal request form.
